DMET Club Salutes Our Own
In every generation, there are those who rise above limitations — not for fame, but to uplift the spirit of an entire community.
Satyadeep Gupta, a proud DMETian and world record-holding mountaineer, is one such figure. His journey from the corridors of DMET to the summits of the world’s most dangerous peaks is not just extraordinary — it's emblematic of what the DMET spirit truly stands for.
Now, as he embarks on another iconic mission to scale Mt. Denali (Alaska) and Mt. Manaslu (Nepal) — two of the most demanding and contrasting summits in the mountaineering world — the DMET Club proudly joins in celebrating and supporting him.
🏔️ The Mountains: Two Beasts, One Mission
❄️ Mt. Denali (6,190 m) – North America’s Mightiest
Located in Alaska, Denali is the highest peak in North America and one of the most technically difficult climbs due to its brutal temperatures, high altitude, and isolation. It is often called the “Everest of the Arctic.”
🏔️ Mt. Manaslu (8,163 m) – The Mountain of the Spirit
The eighth-highest mountain in the world, Manaslu is revered for its spiritual presence and feared for its deep snowfields, frequent avalanches, and steep, exposed ridgelines. It’s a test of mind, body, and soul.
Together, these mountains represent opposite extremes of the mountaineering spectrum, and Satyadeep's attempt to summit both is a testimony to his unmatched grit.
🏢 Yugen Infra: A DMETian Powered Enterprise with a Soul
Leading the charge of support for this expedition is Yugen Infra, a real estate venture supported & powered DMETians who continue to give back to the community.
