⚓ A Session with Visionary Leaders

The keynote speaker for the session will be Mr. Anubhav Garg (DMET Class of 1988–1992), Chief Operating Officer & Managing Director at NYK Shipmanagement, a global leader in ship management operations. With over three decades of experience — from sailing as Chief Engineer to leading one of the world’s most respected ship management firms — Mr. Garg will share his insights on how the next generation of marine engineers can prepare for the future.
The session will be inaugurated with a Welcome Note by Rear Admiral Amit Bose (Retd.), Campus Director of IMU Kolkata, whose words will set the tone for this forward-looking discussion. A Special Address by Mr. Sanjiv Mishra, President, DMET Singapore Alumni Association, will add a global perspective, bridging the connection between India’s maritime education legacy and the international shipping community.
