Taradevi's Group Forges Exclusive Alliance with DMET Club for Kufri Vacation Home Project

Taradevi's Group, a prominent developer of luxury homes in Shimla has partnered with mariners' platform DMET Club to co-develop studios and villas in Himachal Pradesh's premier hill resort Kufri. DMET Club is the alumni association platform of the Directorate of Marine Engineering and Technology (DMET) — now known as the Indian Maritime University — one of the most respected marine engineering institutions globally.

The group has a 1.50 acre land parcel, acquired with requisite state government approvals, in Kufri, the popular hill resort near Shimla. The project will feature curated studios and luxury villas, upto 75% of which will be reserved for DMET CLUB community.

This marks the second venture for Taradevi's Group in the Shimla market, following Taradevi's Enclave, an under-construction luxury residential project in New Shimla.

DMET Club, led by Mr. Prateek Khanna (2011 Batch DMET Alumnus), focuses on welfare of mariner community including wealth management. Speaking on the tie-up, Mr. Khanna said the partnership opens up a dual investment opportunity for community members — both at the project development level and at the level of individual built-up assets, working alongside an established name in the region.

Mr. Ajit Agnihotri, a banker-turned-realtor and the Promoter of Taradevi's Group, described it an alliance based on Group’s belief of equitable sharing of benefits among the trinity of investors, developers, and buyers.

The two partners have also announced plans to launch a dedicated real estate fund to give mariners a structured investment vehicle and to explore primary residential segment in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities, for DMET Club members seeking first homes.
